COUNSELLING
Counselling provides you with person centred therapy using creative mediums, sand, metaphor, clay, arts, music to explore what is going on in your world.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
- C Jung
The counselling I offer particularly supports people with experiences with trauma, those who are neuro divergent, people struggling with life, and anyone in need of space to talk & explore. I will always provide you with a safe space to explore your feelings and emotions to help you to become more balanced through better understanding of yourself.
Sometimes we can struggle to find the words to express how we’re feeling, we can also filter what we say. By using a creative medium such as sand or clay you are able to unlock your unconscious and access parts of yourself that need healing without always having to use words.
I offer counselling online and in person in The Yurt. These can be regular sessions that best work with your needs. If online is your preference, please be reassured it is very possible to work creatively this way and I will discuss any requirements during our initial consultation.
I have over 20 years of experience in therapeutic practice with an MA in Practice-Based Play Therapy, a Certificate in Counselling Skills, and extensive training in creative arts therapies. I am fully insured, DBS-certified, and a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

CREATIVE CLINICAL
SUPERVISION
What is creative supervision?
My supervision is a creative space to explore the relationship between therapist and client, to offer support and understanding. This enables the supervisee to work through any blocks and explore their client work to help maintain a healthy relationship between therapist and client.
This is a space to reflect on the therapeutic process and relationship, to explore what is going on in the client’s world. This can be verbal or by using creative mediums such as art, metaphor, sand or clay to name a few.
Clinical supervision is held on a regular basis in accordance with membership bodies requirements, and helps with management, support and training. This is typically undertaken for 90 minutes a month.
Who is creative supervision for?
Supervision is for any counsellor or therapist either starting out or those who are experienced looking for a change of supervisor.
Teachers or mental health & charity workers may also benefit from this type of supervision.
Group supervisions are also available
I offer these sessions online and in person.
